A fun evening with Wayne Newton
This show far exceeded my expectations. If you're old enough to have followed Wayne's career, this show will not disappoint. Not only did he sing many of his classic songs, he intertwined his singing with clips from his archives, starting with his contract at The Fremont at 15 years of age. He also was a brilliant story-teller, talking about his appearances with Glen Campbell, the Rat Pack, Jack Benny, Jackie Gleason, and more. And the woman sitting on the stage behind him was his beautiful wife of 28 years. Wow! And this venue is small and intimate... a very pleasant evening, indeed!
